1/2 price day Thursday at CAP thrift store

With stuff arriving every day it is so fun to visit the CAP thrift store. 1/2 price day is even more fun and well behaved pets are welcome! What other thrift store has that amenity and dressing rooms well?


  Almost everything in the store is 1/2 price, This  antique piano is one of the few exceptions. It is priced at 300.00(possibly 350.00, I have misplaced my notes)

 The woven pattern on this chair back is subtle but eye catching. It is 30.00 and possibly on the 1/2 price sale.

Scout is a 2 year old male given a second chance when Katy Animal  Control brought him to CAP. Your donations and purchases at the thrift store help animals such as Scout. Please share his picture so he can find his permanent home.




 

 With lots of parties coming up this spring, save on this beautiful glassware and remember they are not just for flowers, interesting objects and colors are effectively shown off in the square and rectangular glass.

Half Price day this Thursday at CAP thrift store!

There are a few exceptions, but not many.
With the new remodel completed earlier this year and a great article in Pet Talk(thanks, Michelle!), the CAP  thrift has attracted not only new shoppers, but new donors as well. This means more neat stuff, esp this Thursday. There is plenty of parking, so tell a friend!

The summer as usual is producing MANY kittens and the shelter needs esp kitten food.. If you would like to bring some canned or dry  kitten food, I will make sure it gets to the shelter. You can also visit with the kittens currently being fostered at the thrift store:)

Thrift store blog extra-2 vintage kitchen items just in today!

 Once in a while I will slip in a "mini post", when something really neat shows up and I happen to be at the thrift:). I don't even cook, but think both of these items are VERY cool. In this one instance, neither item had been priced as of posting time, I try not to do that, but I just could not wait this time. Hershey the head poobah is out of town so these may not be available until Tuesday afternoon. How's that for a tease?

This aluminum stand was brought in as a cupcake stand, holds 18, but a volunteer mentioned it could also hold cones for ice cream....

The other item I did not get a picture of and it is a cast iron muffin thingie(it's not a pan, really, but is what was used for baking muffins.)The manufacturer is marked on the bottom but has a little too much black on it for me to read. It holds maybe 8-10 muffins.
