NOT your average thrift store!

A move within the same center triggered a neat "makeover" for the CAP thrift store and not ONE penny was used from the shelter. Hershey Grace, the head poobah, tortured a slew of her friends to donate so no funds would be diverted from caring for the animals.
The reading area has even more book cases out of sight, too many to get in a picture. You are welcome to hang and read and there is coffee often for a small donation as well as sweet goodies from time to time, not your average thrift store!

This sturdy rattan chair is 60.00 and does not include the cat. They have their favorite places, but obviously adaptable, as inventory changes rapidly.
At this thrift, there are many sections, not just a glass section, for example. These shelves are almost totally shells, so if you are
looking for shells you don't have to dig thru a bunch of other stuff.      This rug is only 40.00. It is 7'8"x11'2".

I have not been able to find any other thrift in Houston that has a blog, so if you know of one I'd like to network with them, Please subscribe and forward this to your buds, you can save animals and money at the same time. It's clean, organized and remember, has 2 dressing rooms. Don't forget to donate as well for a tax deduction.

Open 7 days a week at 11925 Katy Freeway, Houston, Tx. 77079  281-497-7559
